About this Course

This is an Accredited Course by the Malta Further & Higher Education Authority (MFHEA), at MQF/EQF Level 5, with 5 ECTS.

This programme aims at providing participants with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the core function and areas within the HR profession namely organisation design & HR strategies, talent management, training and employee relations. It will enable participants to develop the necessary skills for added efficiency within their role at work and add value to the HR function within their organisation.

Target Audience

This programme is for individuals who are looking to develop their knowledge and skills in the field of HRM and Training. Those new to the field of HRM and Training or who have just started working in the field. The programme is also targeted at supervisors/managers who seek to expand their knowledge in the field of people management.

Awarding Body

This qualification is awarded by the Malta Foundation for Human Resources Development. This qualification is accredited by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority. The MFHEA deems this Award in Human Resources Management and Training to be at MQF/EQF Level 5 with 5 ECTS in the Malta Qualifications Framework and the European Qualifications Framework for lifelong learning.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should hold:

  • A-level standard of education
  • Or suitable work experience

Assessment Mode

A written case study (Maximum of 2000 words) together with a reflective journal (1000 words). Grading: The case study will be corrected and students must achieve a pass mark of at least 50 % and are required to attend 80% of the entire tuition sessions in order to be given a certification.

Language of Instruction & Delivery Mode

This programme will be delivered in English at the FHRD’s training centre in Sliema.
