  • Demonstrate knowledge of different working time regulations and how these are applicable according to the
    industrial sector.
  • Describe data protection principles in employment contract provisions and design contractual work practices
  • Identify why HR Auditing is a value added process which may significantly improve the governance of HR Processes
  • Draw the meaning of HR Objectives, HR Risks and Internal Controls
  • Define the process of risk assessment and how it feeds into a risk based HR audit process
  • Differentiate between different types of Interview Skills and Techniques
  • Understand the concept and importance of job profiling to be used in interviewing

Awarding Body

This qualification is awarded by LEAD Training Services. This qualification is accredited by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority. MFHEA deems this Award in Human Resources & People Management to be at MQF/EQF Level 5 with 4 ECTS in the Malta Qualifications Framework and the European Qualifications Framework for lifelong learning.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should hold:

  • A minimum of 2 A Levels and 5 O levels OR
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working within office administration (private or public) organisation.

This course welcomes individuals from the legal age of 18 onwards.

If an applicant does not meet the above entry requirements, you are encouraged to contact the Academy for an interview.

Assessment Mode

At the end of the course, students will be assessed by two assessment methods:

  • 75% of final grade: Written Assignment with practical case study questions of no longer than 3,000 words
  • 25% of final grade: Oral Exam

Students will be presented with the written assignment questions, where students have four or five questions and need to choose three. Students need to submit the written assignment as per the submission date on the assignment questions document provided. The oral exam date will be communicated with each student.

Grading: The assignment questions will be corrected and students must achieve a pass mark of at least 50 marks, in order to be given a certification.
