The Basic & Paediatric First Aid course includes practice of Primary Survey concluded by CPR on adult, child and baby manikin, Secondary Survey concluded by the recovery position, practice of various wound dressing and sling-making. This course is made up of 5 sections, which are:

Entry Requirements
Considering the practical nature of the skills, no academic qualifications are requested to join this programme, however, applicants are expected to:
- be able to communicate in Maltese or English.
- be 16 years of age or older

Assessment Mode
At the end of the course, learners are required to complete a multiple choice assessment and practical. On successful completion of the assessment (80% pass mark), you will able to continue to the next chapter
