This qualification is awarded by Malta Facilities Management Academy and Consultancy (MFMAC). This qualification is accredited by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority. The MFHEA deems this Pre-Tertiary Certificate in Facilities Management to be at MQF/EQF Level 4 with 60 ECTS in the Malta Qualifications Framework and the European Qualifications Framework for lifelong learning.

Entry Requirements

Candidates who apply for this course must be in possession of the following:

  • A minimum MQF Level 4 Qualification (Matriculation Certificate)

AND be in possession of

  • Grade 5 in English (Matsec Certificate)
  • IELTs 6.0 Or an equivalent qualification.

Assessment Mode

This programme shall be assessed by making use of mixed methods to ensure that the learners have acquired the necessary skills and knowledge and have obtained the stipulated learning outcomes.

This course, therefore, includes exams inclusive of open-ended questions and multiple-choice questions, individual assignments and presentations, group assignments and presentations and case studies. The programme also makes use of formative assessments through observation and in-class discussions.
